1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Summery ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Beta service

Summery is currently provided as a beta service. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United States to use the Service. Access is currently invite-only.

4. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication in Settings.

5. Permitted use

You may connect only financial accounts that belong to you and for which you have authority to share data. You may not attempt to access another user's data, probe the Service for vulnerabilities without permission, or use the Service to violate any law.

6. Plaid

Bank connections are powered by Plaid. By connecting an account you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

7. Not financial advice

Summery presents your financial data for informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm the Service, or create legal risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summery is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
